PLENTY SOUNDS, plentyppl.

After two standout dances in July and August, plentyppl returns to MOKO Tottenham for one last dance ahead of its closure.

"plentyppl" is a night focused on the care-free enjoyment of Black dance music. Sounds weave through various genres such as Broken Beat and Soulful House and their musical roots including Jazz, Funk and Samba. Come listen, move and dance with us.

Sounds will be provided by two seasoned selectors: Quinnette (@quiinnette) - A Louisville, Kentucky native now residing in New York, Quinnette is a ready proprietor of soulful music. She captains “Soul Purpose”, a series of events showcasing “music with a message and a purpose”, featuring pioneering acts such as KeiyaA, Caleb Giles and Zaniah. A legend in her own right, Quinnette has shelled dances like Soul in The Horn and Donuts are Forever and has shared the stage with greats like DJ Spinna, DJ Rashida, Solange & Large Professor to name a few. CasuallyClued (@kamal.casj) - plentyppl regular CC returns bringing his eclectic mix of Broken Beat, Soulful House, Jazz and Grime... anything to make you move.

Having started DJing at community-centred parties hosted by Sable Studios (fka Sable Radio), CasuallyClued has appeared on NTS, Balamii & Voices Radio stations and various shubzes up and down the country such as Cosmic Slop (Leeds) and Circles (London).
