Dey Play Games

Dey play is games night for the Caribbean and African diaspora, blending cultural entertainment with insightful discussions. The event featured traditional games such as dominoes and ayo, fostering a lively and interactive atmosphere celebrating our shared heritage. Alongside the games, we hosted panel talks with various artists from the diaspora, providing a platform for them to share their experiences, creative processes, and perspectives on art and culture. This fusion of play and conversation not only strengthened community bonds but also sparked meaningful dialogues between those on the continent and diaspora about our collective identity and future.

This time we explore black-British film with writer Yaya Azariah Clarke in conversation with filmmaker and artist Iggy London and photographer and director Myah Asha Jeffers. As part of the evening we will be screening clips from Iggy’s award-winning short film ‘Arena Boy’ alongside some exclusive footage from Myah’s first and highly acclaimed short film ‘BATHSHEBA’
